What you will learn:
You’ll learn how to draw a raspberry in under 30 minutes with this simple drawing tutorial. This tutorial was created specifically for people who want to get started drawing right away. So, why a raspberry?
Well, raspberries are one of my favourite fruits, and I’m guessing you like them too. Looks like we both have something in common!
Interesting fact:
Raspberries are delicious and they contain potassium, which is necessary for heart function and has been shown to lower blood pressure. Without further ado, let’s get started because you’ve come here to draw!
Before we begin drawing, here is the anatomy of a raspberry. I will be using some of these words through out the tutorial.
Estimated time: 25mins
Step 1: Draw the peduncle
Begin by drawing the peduncle of a raspberry from which the berry hangs from the bush. A slight curved parallel line as show in the image below.
Step 2: Draw the sepal leaves
Attach the sepal leaves to the peduncle.
Step 3: Draw the berries
Start drawing 5 small circles that fit the sepal leaves. Make sure that the middle circle is overlapping the neighbouring circles. The middle circle should make a U shape while the other circles are going to be C shaped.
Step 4: Continue drawing the berries/drupes
Draw the next row of berries underneath the first one.
